Welcome to the website of Christ the King Anglican Church, Franklin County, Tennessee.

"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be     honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen." (1 Tim. 1:7, NIV)

Now in our fifth year of ministry, the congregation of Christ the King is a fellowship of passionate Christian disciples who stepped out in faith to follow Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord and King in the Anglican faith tradition.

We are a family of Anglican believers who believe Christian community and discipleship to be essential components of a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. For that reason, the central focus of our life together is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through our regular gathering together for worship, Bible study, prayer and service to those in need in Jesus' Name.

We truly believe we have something unique to offer within the Christian Church. We are part of an ancient faith for present times. We have a rich heritage of sacramental, spirit-filled and participatory worship, biblical teaching/preaching and a real desire to bring all people into a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ, firmly rooted in the Bible. As broken human beings, we understand the on-going need for healing in our own lives, and having been touched by Christ's healing power, offer this hope found in Jesus Christ to all.

As we make plans for the development of our twelve-acre ministry campus located off of the Boulevard on Cumberland Street in Decherd, TN, we are temporarily worshiping at 1211 Dinah Shore Blvd [next to Bennett's Pharmacy] in WinchesterOur Sunday morning worship service begins at 9:00 a.m., and a time of fellowship follows the worship service.  Sunday school begins at approximately 10:40. We also routinely meet on Wednesday mornings at 11:00 a.m. and evening at 7:00 p.m. for Bible study and prayer. Other study groups meet during the week as well. We also invite all in Franklin County and surrounding areas to our healing prayer service held during the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. (Please also see our Ministries and Schedules page for additional info.)

If you are looking for a church family who like many in our community face the struggle of life's challenges yet live with expectancy, transparent hope, and love for Christ and one another, we invite you to come and visit with us on a Sunday morning, and allow us the opportunity to get to know you and share with you God's present joy and future for us at Christ the King.

For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3 NIV Listen
